i named this painting as 'my father's trees,' as my dad had expressed to me that this was his favourite painting.
it represents a season i could not see as beautiful in the moment, blinded by loss and grief after the death of my dad. with time, and the ability to step back, i can now see how beautiful both this painting and grief can be.
