i didn't grow up seeing myself as an artist.
i couldn't imagine that something i created from my own hands could possibly be labelled as fine art. maybe a hobbyist or an amateur artist. that felt more appropriate or reasonable as someone who was privately making art simply to zone out.
but the more i zoned out, the more alive i felt. the more i experimented, the more free i felt. slowly, i realized that art allowed me to come home to myself, not escape.
i experiment with different mediums including pencil crayons, acrylics, oil paints, and a bit of all.
