Jamie Kay Art (Jamie Leung) respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number (if provided).
  • Order details: shipping and billing addresses and order history.
  • Inquiry form details: information you send through our contact and project inquiry forms (built with Fluent Forms), such as wall dimensions, project ideas and reference images.
  • Photos of your space: photos you share or that we take of your wall or room for quoting and completing a project.
  • Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Newsletter: if you opt in to our email newsletter, your email address and subscription preferences. The newsletter is delivered through our email marketing provider, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Website usage: cookies and analytics data (for example, through Jetpack), such as pages visited, browser type and general location.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, ship and support your orders.
  • To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes, designs and project agreements.
  • To plan and complete commissions and murals.
  • To send newsletters, only if you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To improve our website and keep it secure.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed with trusted service providers who help us run the business:

  • Stripe, for payment processing.
  • Gelato, our print-on-demand partner, which makes and ships print orders.
  • WooCommerce and our website host, which run our online store.
  • Jetpack, for site statistics and security.
  • Our email marketing provider, to deliver the newsletter to subscribers.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Photos of finished artwork may be used in our portfolio and marketing, as described in our Terms & Conditions. We will not publish your name, address or other identifying details without your consent.

4. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, tax records). Inquiry details that do not lead to a project are deleted after 12 months.

5. How We Protect It

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (SSL) connections and trusted payment processing, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

6. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to make the site and shopping cart work and to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work properly.

7. Your Rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal or contractual limits). To make a request, email hello@jamiekayart.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you have concerns, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
